This is performed in children and in adults:
- Eye Lids: Repair of Entropion & Ectropion (Rolling inward and outward of lid margin). Repair of Ptosis (Droppy eyelid). Removal and reconstruction of different eyelid tumours as BCC. Cosmetic eyelid surgery as Blepharoplasty. We also offer Botulinum Toxin treatment for patients with wrinkles around the eyes.
- Lacrimal System & Watery Eyes: This includes syringing and probing of the tear ducts; sometimes this necessitates intubation of lacrimal tubes (Crawford Tubes). DCR Operation and joining lacrimal drainiage to the nose with insertion of temporary or permanent lacrimal tubes.
- Congenital Eye Lid and Eye Globe Anomalies: This includes surgery for congenital anomalies as haemangiomas, tissue defects, microphtalmia and anophthalmia (congenital absence of the eye) with orbital implants and expanders.
- Movable Artificial Eyes: Evisceration and Enucleation and orbital implants after traumas and tumours.
- Orbital Disorders: Proptosis and thyroid eye disease. Orbital tumours removal and Orbitotomies. Repair of Orbital fractures
